Selective color tutorial...

This is a short tutorial I did last year on another website, really simple way to change your photo.

I am quite sure everyone here knows how to do this, but maybe someone will learn something from this super quick little trick.

This is how I did this effect (I have used it in the past for flowers, or things where you would like to see a certain color)

I opened the image in Photoshop elements. I opened the Hue/Saturation panel and took the Saturation to zero (thus making the image black and white.)

I opened the brush tool and on the bottom left corner of the tool bar there is a foreground color, I set both the foreground and background to black. I then ran the brush tool over any part of the picture I wanted in color, thus making the reflection of the pool in color and the lights themselves in black and white.

Such a simple little trick you can do but you can make some really, really awesome photos this way.
